(One of the) hero(es) of the great Chicago Eastland Disaster, who saved 38 lives and recovered 67 dead bodies. I am the only man in the world with a broken blood vessel on my forehead and a fractured skull. I also saved four lives in the Cleveland tunnel disaster, and am now on my way to France."
