OTHER NOTES:

Albert Pecha was the fourth of five children and eldest son. His father Adalbert worked as a building lather. All of the children graduated 8th grade and then went into the workforce. His sisters Marie, Rosie, and Albina were tailoresses. In 1910, 15-year-old Albert worked as a pressman at a printing house. His younger brother William worked in the same job in 1920. We believe Albert was the only family member to be on board the Eastland that morning, most likely having attended with coworkers.
