OTHER NOTES:

Bronislawa Rudcki, aka Blanche, had previously worked at Western Electric. At the time of the tragedy, she was not a wage earner but stayed at home as housekeeper for her mother who was incapacitated with heart disease.

Blanche left behind her parents and four brothers plus three sisters. She was going to the excursion/picnic with her fiance Karl Stehlik, to be wed in two weeks. Both Blanche and Karl perished aboard the Eastland.
