Rosemary Pietrzak taught middle school social studies for 39 years at Hauser Junior High School in Riverside, Illinois. Her devoutness to teaching youth likely had a lasting influence on her niece, Lacey, who in her own way, time, and place followed in Rosemary's footsteps.

Rosemary also had an exceptional talent for documenting history and weaving compelling stories. Her nephews Phillip and Devin recall Rosemary's passion for remembering the lives lost in the Eastland Ship disaster. Rosemary contributed the photos of her Eastland ancestors, the John S. Schultz family, plus their personal story, making it a part of the permanent archives for generations to come.

Rosemary took great joy in the arts, sharing her love for the theatre, symphony, and opera with her nieces Ashley and Courtney.

In memory of Rosemary, her nieces and nephews are pleased to be founding members of the Legacy Circle, helping to build a legacy for all families to be remembered.
